Welcome to my website.  I am Deborah Franks, Social Studies Teacher for the 6th grade Starfish Team. This is my 7th year at Githens Middle  and I am looking forward to it.

6th grade Social Studies is fun and we study Europe and South America.  We will study Otzi, Knights, Kings, artist, inventors and lots of other interesting people, places and things.

I have 2 daughters, one just graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design. The other is in her freshman year at Florida State University. (Go Noles)! We have a great dog named Max he is so sweet. I like to read, travel and watch sports.
